So rise up you “Silver Surfer’s.  That’s right, “Silver Surfer’s". We are now the fastest growing users of the internet. That’s our generation, over or nearly 60 years old. So why should we have a web-site that looks 60 years old? Well, when you have a techie like Mike Lynch, no longer called a GEEK, we won’t stand for it!!! Our very own IT (information technology) man is ready to move forward.  Dennis Hopper has made known that 60 years old is now the new 40 years old. We will not stand still and wait until the world comes to us; we are still in the business of taking the world in the direction we want it to go.

So our new website is designed to open up new horizons and create interaction among the participants.

We all have our own stories and tales, some good, some not so good. We all have photos, memorabilia, special events and current events that we would like to share with the friends and classmates of HHS 66. The new website will provide us this capability. Many of us have hobbies that have developed into full time endeavourers. Perhaps you want to write articles regarding these hobbies or short stories of some special moment you have experienced; now we will have a forum to express ourselves and know others will read it. This website is ours to use and is in a format that provides the security and privacy that has concerned me for 20 years. The time is NOW for us to step out and experience the internet as most of the world has been doing for sometime.

Of course this requires a small effort on your part. We must register again!!! Do you think we have it in us? I know I already dread having to register again but I promised Mike Lynch that I would be the first in line. I now realize Johnny Taylor beat me to the site. I am going to register right now. It really isn’t difficult, you just have to go to www.hhs66.info and start from there. The little time you spend will provide everyone the ability to contract you, if you want them to, which will enable you to stay informed of any class or individual event being scheduled and you will be able to direct other HHS 66 classmates to the website for them to register. Mike Lynch and I are having fun keeping our class ahead of all the others, not just the classes of HHS, but other high schools as well. We have a very sophisticated website for a high school and hope everyone will enjoy the efforts of Mike Lynch as much as I have enjoyed working with him and watching him create this site for our enjoyment. There are no fees charged and there never will be. So ENJOY!!!!!!!
